Back to the future... By Floriane, Hadrien & Jérémy

In the 1984 picture above, Steve Jobs is young and looks determined. He is at the beginning of his technological adventure. He holds one of the first Apple Macs.

In the second picture, taken a few months before his death, he has the look of someone who has achieved his goal, though he looks older than his years. The MacAir he is holding uses brand new technology.

Jobs was old and ill, but his ideas were as young as ever.

  1. We were so sad to learn about his death last week. He was one genius of the computing. He has revolutionized the computing thanks to the Ipod, Iphone, Ipad with their touch-sensitive screens.
He is so famous in the world, an icon.
During all his life he was very couragous since he fought cancer.
We agree with you even if he was old and ill, his ideas were as young as ever.

  3. I think that Steve Jobs was one of genius of our world. He had lots of many new ideas thus he has revolutioned the way of using our computers.

However i don't understand why so many people consider Steve Jobs as a god. This picture sums up what i think. http://bit.ly/oRMpRR

  4. I've never owned an Apple product. Yet here I am, talking on phones, typing on computers, and reading the internet every day. If you like Apple products, fine. They are products. They do not have souls. They are not heroes, and neither is their creator, no matter how skilled he may have been. He did not meaningfully reduce poverty, or make life-saving scientific discoveries, or end wars.
The same day he died, Fred Shuttlesworth passed away, who along with his family was bombed, beaten and stabbed. All durring his years is the US civil rights movements. That fellow did more for people than Steve Jobs. In my opignon we should not consider him as a God but more as, the "Igod"
(nice picture buy the way "Insane Soap")

  5. In my opinion, Steve Jobs was a genius, he has revolutionned the world of communication. His creations will be part of the technological history for years. However, his products are just mobiles and computers, he has not invented medical cures or reduced poverty in the world, therefore he does not have to be regarded as a hero but as a scientist business man.

  6. To my mind, Steve Jobs was worldwide considered as the icon of the new technology era, with products such as Ipad, Iphone,Imac... He was visionary in the computing world and was always eager to create something better, faster and of course stylish! He was ambitious and determined, and thanks to that, he maybe succeeded in fighting against his cancer from 2004 to 2011. Steve Jobs will always stay in our memories.

  7. "Stay foolish stay hungry" he said, not only was he a visionary and a computing genus, but he also understood how our world works and what people want. This is why he got so succesful running Apple but also Pixar.
